Hello World...

Pardon me? I am not really good with pleasantries.

There might be a different website available in future, but while that pipeline dream runs its course before it actually comes into fruition, this blog is the spot to find me (not sure if pun was intended), besides my author pages on various e-book stores and sites around the web.

In case you don’t already know, I am C.H. Mason, writer of erotica, and of late, some paranormal fiction. For a since retired pseudonym of mine, Henry Haines, the latter is a resurrection of some sorts. He left a couple of unfinished works I have to complete before I go back to writing stories that I enjoy writing the most, and which seem to come easy to me (and don’t take several months to complete as well).

I hope this will turn into a better blog soon, and this time round, I hope I will put more effort into this whole blogging thing. Guess that’s it for now, and if you are interested in the stories that I have written, click here to visit my author page on Amazon.com. For my page on Smashwords.com, click here. You can also find my titles on the B&N site, and I prefer those three sites because all my titles are published there.

Kobo and the iBook store don’t carry all my titles (some are too risqué and banned), but if you do a search or click on the links, I am sure you can find a few that are accepted on their sites.

What I have to say about 'The First Time'

So the jury is out on Literotica, and judging by the feedback I am getting for a story I posted there for the first time, which is titled, The First Time (no pun intended), there seems to be no middle ground, and I am really enjoying that outcome. People are either enjoying the story or absolutely hating it.

For those commenting that it’s too long, and that I should cut out parts of it, the issue is I tried. I really tried, but sometime during the writing process, the protagonist came to life and took control away from me (the writer), and just used me to tell the story the way it is. So I am not going to apologise for its length, and the mundane details that bloat it out.

I understand that some people prefer very short erotic stories that get right to the point. Sometimes I do, too, but then other times I don’t, and when I feel that I’m not in need of a story that takes rather too long to get to the part(s) where the characters have sex or do any other erotic stuff, I find one that doesn’t have that and make myself happy, end of story. I don’t whine about it.

To those finding the scenes described in the story too absurd and totally unbelievable, I have read worse, and I am not worried that the plot-line of the story is being considered as that by some.

To those who enjoyed the story, more stories are coming. Perhaps some will be longer, more absurd, and totally unbelievable, too. I know I am free to do that. If you are interested in getting the story in multiple e-book formats, you can get it for free on Smashwords and Barnes & Noble. Click on the links below to visit the page with my titles on the mentioned sites. But you have to know that if you are interested in getting the story on Amazon, you will have to pay for it.

It's about Distant Realm

So, about Distant Realm, my newly published title, which is currently enrolled into KDP Select, I look forward to having it in other e-book stores eventually. Until then, you can get it on Amazon, and click here to visit the book’s page on Amazon.
